Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. About this agreement

Eventdash is provided by Eventdash Ltd ("Eventdash", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17473556, whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at hi@eventdash.app.

These terms apply to our website and analytics service, including dashboards, reports, connected ticketing data and AI features (the "Service"). The Service is intended for business and professional use. "You" means the person or organisation entering into this agreement. If you register or accept these terms for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

You agree to these terms when you create an account or accept them as part of an order. An order or separate agreement signed by both parties takes priority where it expressly changes these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Section 7 below sets out our contractual obligations when processing personal data on your behalf.

2. Accounts and access

Give us accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in credentials and integration credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Each person should use their own account. You are responsible for the users you authorise and for managing their access to your organisation.

Subject to these terms and your plan, we give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service for your business purposes. Features, usage allowances and any trial conditions are described in your plan or order. Free and trial access may have different limits from paid subscriptions.

3. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation

The price, currency, billing interval and applicable taxes are shown before you subscribe. Eligible organisations may receive a 14-day trial. Checkout asks for a payment method, and the subscription becomes payable at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. The trial dates and amount payable are shown at checkout.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for successive monthly or annual periods, as selected, until cancelled. We use Stripe for checkout and subscription billing through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe acts as merchant of record for the transaction and handles applicable sales taxes under the terms presented at checkout.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing settings. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you retain paid access until then. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account or organisation. Deleting an organisation ends its access and subscription immediately.

Plan changes, their effective dates and any prorated charges or credits are shown in the billing flow before confirmation. Downgrading may reduce your available features or usage allowances. Except where required by law, stated at checkout or agreed with us, fees are non-refundable and we do not refund unused time when you cancel or delete an organisation. This does not affect the refund described in section 9 if we discontinue a paid service.

If payment fails, we may ask you to update your payment details and may restrict paid features after notifying you. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a subscription price increase, which will take effect no earlier than your next renewal after that notice period. You may cancel before the increase takes effect.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Break the law, infringe another person's rights, or process data you are not entitled to use.
  • Access another customer's data, share credentials to bypass access controls, or interfere with security.
  • Introduce malicious software, disrupt the Service, or evade plan limits or usage restrictions.
  • Resell access to the Service without our written agreement, or copy our software except as permitted by law.
  • Harass, threaten or abuse other users or our staff.

5. Your data and connected services

You retain your rights in the data and content you connect, upload or create through the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us permission to host, copy, process and display it to provide the Service, follow your instructions and meet our legal obligations. This permission does not transfer ownership of Customer Data to us.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful basis to connect third-party accounts and process Customer Data, including providing required notices to attendees and other individuals. Only connect accounts you are authorised to use. Avoid submitting sensitive personal data that is not needed for the Service, including health information, identification documents or payment card details. This includes answers to custom questions you ask on your ticketing platform, which are imported with orders.

Connected platforms operate under their own terms. Their availability, API limits, data quality and changes can affect imports and reports. Eventdash provides analytics; it does not organise your events or become a party to ticket sales. Check important figures against the source platform before making financial or operational decisions.

You control who can access your organisation and any reports or dashboards you share. Review the audience and contents before sharing, especially where they include personal or commercially sensitive information.

6. AI features

AI features process your instructions and relevant context, which can include chat history, report content, metadata and query results from connected data. This information, which can include personal data in query results such as buyer names and email addresses, is sent to the providers used to deliver the feature, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only submit information you are authorised to process in this way.

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Review generated queries, reports and recommendations before relying on or sharing them. The Service does not provide legal, tax or other professional advice. As between you and Eventdash, you retain any rights you have in your inputs and may use the outputs for your business purposes. We do not promise that an output is unique or eligible for intellectual property protection.

7. Processing personal data on your behalf

This section applies where Customer Data includes personal data that we process on your behalf under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. You act as controller, or as a processor authorised by the controller; we act as your processor or subprocessor. This section takes priority over other provisions of these terms on that processing.

The processing consists of importing, organising, storing, querying, analysing, displaying, sharing at your direction and deleting Customer Data to provide the Service for the duration of the agreement and the applicable return or deletion period. It may cover your users, ticket buyers, attendees and other contacts, and their names, contact details, order and attendance information, location information, answers to custom booking questions and personal data included in your content or instructions.

We will:

  • Process that personal data only on your documented instructions, including these terms and your use of the Service, unless required by law. Where legally permitted, we will tell you about such a legal requirement before processing and notify you if we believe an instruction infringes applicable data protection law.
  • Ensure people authorised to process the data are bound by confidentiality, and use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it, taking account of the nature of the data and the risks of processing.
  • Notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Customer Data.
  • Provide reasonable assistance, taking account of the processing and information available to us, with individual rights requests, security obligations, breach notifications, data protection impact assessments and regulator consultations.
  • Make information needed to demonstrate compliance available to you and allow and contribute to audits, including inspections, by you or an auditor you appoint. We may agree reasonable arrangements to protect other customers' data and service security.

You give general authorisation for us to use subprocessors to provide the Service. We will provide details of those subprocessors on request and give advance notice of intended additions or replacements so you can raise a reasonable data protection objection. We will work with you to resolve an objection before the affected processing begins. We require equivalent data protection obligations in our subprocessor contracts and remain responsible for their performance of those obligations.

Transfers of personal data outside the UK or EEA must meet applicable data protection requirements, including appropriate transfer safeguards where required. At the end of the relevant services, we will, at your choice, return or delete personal data processed on your behalf and delete existing copies unless the law requires retention. Copies in backups will be isolated from ordinary use and deleted through the applicable backup rotation. Contact us to arrange return before deleting your organisation.

8. Our service and intellectual property

We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results or compatibility with every third-party service. Maintenance, security incidents and external outages may affect availability. Any specific service-level commitment must be agreed separately in writing.

Eventdash and its licensors retain their rights in the Service, including its software, design and branding. We will treat non-public Customer Data as confidential and limit access to people who need it to provide support, operate or secure the Service, follow your instructions or comply with the law.

9. Suspension, termination and deletion

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful use, non-payment or a material breach of these terms. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. We may act immediately if delay would risk harm or breach the law.

Either party may end this agreement if the other materially breaches it and does not remedy a remediable breach within 14 days of written notice. We may also discontinue the Service or end a subscription on at least 30 days' notice. If we end a paid service for reasons other than your breach, we will arrange a proportionate refund of prepaid fees for the unused period.

You can close your account in account settings. If you are an organisation's only owner, first transfer ownership or delete that organisation. Closing your personal account does not delete data belonging to an organisation that continues to use Eventdash. Organisation deletion removes access to its data, so export what you need while your subscription is active, or contact us to arrange its return. Retention is explained in our Privacy Policy and section 7 above.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not restrict an individual's statutory data protection rights or a regulator's powers.

Subject to those exceptions, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with this agreement, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees paid or payable for your organisation's Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will notify affected account holders of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a legal or urgent security reason requires a shorter period. You may stop using the Service and cancel before a change takes effect. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. Provisions intended to continue after termination, including payment obligations, confidentiality, data protection and liability, survive termination.

For support, contractual notices or questions about these terms, email hi@eventdash.app. We send notices to the contact details associated with your account or organisation, so please keep them current.
