Automations

Automations that run on your ticket sales

Choose what should happen when your sales change: a message to the team, a buyer added to your mailing list, a row in a sheet. Eventdash runs it every time, and shows you each run.

Triggers from your sales

A new order, an event selling out, a metric crossing a line, or a time of your choosing.

02

03

The tools you already use

Slack, Microsoft Teams, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Google Sheets and dozens more, connected once and used in as many automations as you like.

04

Every run on record

See what each run sent and whether it worked, and test an automation before it goes live.

When this happens, if it matches, then do that

Every automation is three blocks. Here is everything each one can be set to.

WhenSomething happens to your sales
  • New orderOnce for every order a box office takes
  • Ticket issuedOnce for every ticket, so a four-ticket order fires four times
  • Order refundedWhen a buyer gets their money back
  • New eventWhen a box office lists a new event
  • Event status changedGoes on sale, closes, is cancelled or finishes
  • Before event startsHours or days before the doors open
  • After event endsHours or days after it finishes
  • Metric thresholdAny single number from your metric library
  • ScheduledEvery day, week or month at a set time
IfIt matches what you pick
  • Event
  • Event tag
  • Box office
  • Tickets in the order
  • Order value
  • Marketing opt-in

Combine as many as you need. All of them must match for the automation to carry on.

Automations questions

Anything we have not covered, the team is one email away.

Email us
Do I need Zapier or another tool in between?

No. Eventdash connects to your ticketing platforms and to each app itself, so there's nothing else to set up or pay for.

Will it add people who didn't agree to marketing?

Where the platform shares the marketing question from its checkout, a new mailing list step starts with an If block that only lets through people who said yes, and you decide whether to keep it.

How quickly does an automation run?

Eventdash checks your ticketing platforms for new orders each time your data refreshes, usually within 15 minutes, and runs your automations for anything new.

Can I test an automation before it goes live?

Yes. Send a test run first, then switch it on. Every run after that is logged with what it sent and whether it worked.

What does it cost?

Every plan includes it, from $15 a month after a 14-day free trial. The pricing page sets out what each plan adds.
